What would you do on a Wednesday in Cape Town?

It’s officially Wednesday and we’re half way through the week, it may seem like the weekend is a million miles away, but who says you can’t have fun on a Wednesday? The question is what would you like to do on this chilly hump day?

Social dance session at Dance Domain dance studios
If you've just arrived in Cape Town, call up the guys at Airport Shuttle and head straight over to this amazing dance studio. Not only do they teach salsa and ballroom dancing, but every other kind you can think of like Latin and social dancing – all under one roof!
Every Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 – 10:00pm they host social dance sessions, the main lights are turned off and the disco lights are turned on. This fun-filled session is used to practice your moves you may have learnt and just enjoy yourself!

      Mexican Wednesday’s at Rafiki’s
An evening at Rafiki’s is always filled with dancing, laughter and endless entertainment, the main focus of this chilled out venue has always been its people, staff and patrons, that’s why they always have great specials throughout the week!
Wednesday is Mexican night at Rafiki’s, so grab a few friends and enjoy the mouth-watering specials, why not try the tequila and chili popper combo for only R25! Or sink your teeth into a delicious Mexican pizza, while you enjoy the authentic music, if you just want to have a laugh they also have sombreros for sale.

If you’re a market lover and feel like checking out a wide variety of foods, whether it’s homemade, local and organic foods from across the world, this is the place for you.
The V&A Market on the Wharf is open every Wednesday to Sunday from 9:30am – 6:00pm (rain or shine), so rush over after work and enjoy the last few hours with some good friends or family! Visit the new outdoor beer garden and enjoy a beverage or two or be entertained at the onsite demo kitchen, the options are endless.

Once your Wednesday activities are over, you may need a comfortable, affordable place to stay for the night (you don’t want to be caught drinking and driving!) make a quick booking at 808 Cartwright and you’ll have your night all sorted out, so what would you choose to do on a Wednesday?
