What to do in Cape Town this weekend (12th - 14th September)

Its only Monday and there’s still 5 days until the weekend, but it’s never too early to plan your weekend activities. Cape Town is always buzzing with amazing events, so here are a few to stir up some excitement for the weekend ahead. 

Wine and chocolate tasting at Waterford Estate – 12th September
Start your weekend early on Friday afternoon in Stellenbosch’s Blaauwklippen Valley, where the Waterford Estate lies, a beautiful Cape Winelands farm. Gather your family and friends and experience a taste sensation of different wines and delicious dark and milk chocolates. You have the choice to enjoy your tastings in the warm tasting room (if the weather is a bit chilly), on the enclosed patio or view the central fountain outside in the peaceful courtyard.

Crazy Store Table Mountain Challenge – 13th September
Take out those dusty running shoes and lace up for the CrazyStore Table Mountain Challenge, a scenic race through the beautiful Table Mountain. The race starts at Kloof Nek and finishes at Hoërskool Jan van Riebeeck, it is currently 40km long so if you’re unfit, give this one a skip! If you do decide to take part in the challenge, there are some great prizes to be won: R20 000 cash, wine, First Ascent gear and much more.

Sunday Happy Hour at Sotano by Caveau – 14th September
