What to do in Cape Town this weekend (14th – 16th November)

Volvo Ocean Race in Cape Town – 14th November
The Volvo Ocean race is known to be the most grueling endurance sailing event of all time, This tri-annual yachting contest is an 8 month long race around the world, it is 40 000 nautical miles long! After starting in Alicante in Spain they are now docking at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town as part of the first leg of the race. There will be a wide variety of water-based events, check out the pop-up seaside community which hosts pavilions and race experience tents; you can enjoy the race show and cinema.
